DO NOT WIRE DIRECTLY TO BATTERY – ALWAYS USE An 3amp IN LINE FUSE. 

Note this tap is a switch that must not be wired only to the battery or it will short out and blow the switch. To wire the tap always use an 8amp inline fuse with a single wire battery to switch, single wire switch to pump and a final single wire pump to battery.
