Center folding section is made from 12mm Birch ply black hex. Gas strut supported hinges to assist with folding the bed. Please note when folding and unfolding the bed do so in a controlled manner and do not allow the bed to drop until it touches the other side. Keep fingers well away from the folding metal hinges during operation. Narrow storage cupboard on passenger side with 2 doors and openings. Please note if using this with the trim rings the units will come scribed to fit.

Lwb bed platform, fixes into existing holes using Rivnuts. Bed height is at the same level as the bottom of the rear window cut outs. This bed allows you to sleep length ways down the van. Black birch hex board 12 and 18mm. Rivnut gun required to install.

Lifting bed with storage -Y- VW crafter 2017 to present. Space designed to accommodate (does not include these):

Truma combi 4e (with underslung gas tank ideally) or 6d (other heaters may also fit)
90 L fresh water
200 amp hour battery
Electrics
Water pump
Space for 2 x Euro crates 400 x 600

Center lifting section is made from Birch ply black hex. Narrow storage cupboard on passenger side with 2 doors and openings. Optional extra for Y Bed Drawer add-on. Large rear drawer in driver side storage, running on heavy duty (1000mm, 120kg max load) drawer runners (see images), giving an alternative option to storage crates. Water tank is not something we sell but we recommend using Barrett Tanks Please note if using this with the trim rings the bed will need to be cut down so the bed does not go into the window reveal ( Option now available on orders 26/6/ 2023 onwards )

REAR BED UNIT ( C ) VW Crafter 2017 MWB ONWARDS

VW Crafter- 2017 MWB ONWARDS Units are based on using an 18mm ultralight floor + 2mm vinyl ( 20mm thickness in total ) This important as the check straps which hold the doors open are cut for this thickness floor, if you have a different thickness you will need to provide a dimension.

Consists of 2 side supporting cupboards and a central removable section.
Side cupboards with gas storage space constructed in light weight ply
Central section is made from 15mm Birch with a Black hex resin finish
Central section can be folded up to allow bicycles or large objects to use the space or completely removed if necessary
Option to select which side gas storage is on . Driver or passenger side.
Bed max width 1370mm Measured from middle of back doors forward.

Unit can be squared for other vans, please contact us about this before ordering. Note- If using TRIM RINGS the top and uprights will need cutting to size.

Crafter Flat pack rear bed system. This is for the MEDIUM WHEEL BASE VAN BIRCH PLY WITH TOUGH BLACK RESIN FINISH FIXED WITH 10 HEX HEAD NUT RIVITS (REQUIRES NUT RIVIT GUN) OR CAN OPTIONALLY BE SECURED USING LONG HEX HEAD SCREWS (supplied) FLATPACK QUICK INSTALL Note - this can fit the LWB but please note if installing a shower adjacent to the bed 376mm more of the wheel arch will be on show in the shower. Can be cut for the trim rings here Please note there is a 100mm height difference between the floor heights of the FWD and a 4x4 Crafter. 4x4 - 792mm clearance under the bed frame FWD - 892mm clearance under the bed frame ( Front Wheel Drive floor is 100mm lower )
